Cased 1849 Colt Pocket with Ivory Grips manufactured in 1863. Overall, this is a 90+% Revolver. Ivory grips are near mint. Barrel blue is 95% with slight flaking beginning on left side. Cylinder scene and cylinder blue 90+% with minor typical drag marks. The bore suggests little or no use. Case colors cannot be given a number but the photos tell the story. Trigger guard and backstrap retain about 75% of silver but tarnished and dark.
Case is excellent with small crack in left front of lid and normal interior wear. Includes Colt’s Patent Flask with significant lacquer remaining with shallow dent on reverse side. Bullet mold shows dings and some loss of blue. Tin of percussion caps, key and some cast projectiles also included.
This is a fine, well cared for revolver in an overall lovely cased set.
Willing to split up and sell revolver, case and accessories separately.
