Description:
Browning Midas Grade all gauge skeet set made in 1973. This beautiful set has hand filed vent ribs with front and middle beads on the 28” barrels all factory choked SKEET. Fabulous Browning Midas engraving with double signatures of Deprez having cut the frame’s intricate scroll work and Baerten having done the game scenes and the gold inlays. The stock work is also exceptional. Magnificent dark grain throughout the buttstock with flawless finish; long tang/flat knob and perfectly cut Midas checkering. The gun and Browning case are in 99%+ condition, telling me that this gun has spent almost all of its 45 years unassembled in this case! The stock dimensions are typical Browning: 14 3/8” LOP over a factory pad; 1 ½” DAC and 2” DAH and neutral to slight right hand cast. Weight is 7 lbs. 11 oz. All original paperwork is in the case.
