Payment Types Accepted: Visa,Master Card, Discover,Check Description: This Remington Model 1100 Classic Trap was manufactured in 2004 and remains in beautiful like-new 98%+ condition.  It was bought new by the previous owner, shot one time at a trap field and then put up in storage until now.  It has had less than 200 shells fired thru it since leaving the factory!  This semi-automatic gas-operated Classic Trap Model 1100 features a spectacular high-gloss factory blue finish, a 30" vent rib "Target Contour" barrel with the screw-in Rem-choke system, a factory-engraved receiver that features a gold inlaid eagle on the left side, a gold-finished trigger, a factory built-in trigger lock system, and a deluxe gloss-finished and checkered Monte Carlo-style Walnut pistol grip stock set with a factory-installed pistol grip cap and recoil pad.  This Remington was the top-of-the-line regular production Model 1100 made in 2004 specifically for Trap shooters, and it quickly earned a reputation for being a reliable, soft-shooting, and beautiful shotgun.  As mentioned earlier and as you can see from the pictures, this Classic Trap is in excellent condition from one end to the other.  The factory gloss blue finish rates 99% like-new with no finish wear, scratches, or major damage.  The only deductions that we can find under extremely close inspection are a few tiny handling marks, hardly enough to even warrant a 1% deduction.  The blue finish on the bottom of the shell lifter does not even show a faint stripe from the gun being loaded, often visible after only a couple of trips to the range.  The gold eagle and trigger are both pristine and like-new.  The bore in the 30" inch barrel is minty and mirror-bright, with no pitting, bulges, dents, erosion, or visible imperfections of any kind.  The bright polished bolt is free from any stains, scratches, or signs of wear, and the bolt face is spotless.  The original deluxe American Walnut stock set is beautiful and in like-new condition with no cracks, chips, scratches, repairs, or major dings.  The forearm and buttstock are a perfect match in color and tone, and both pieces show lots of beautiful figure and contrasting grain, particularly the buttstock.  The checkered panels on the forearm and pistol grip are spotless and crisp, and both the factory recoil pad and pistol grip cap are in like-new condition, perfectly fit to the stock, and tight to the wood.  The length of pull on this Model 1100 Classic Trap is 14.5" inches to the end of the pad, and the drop measures 1 & 3/8ths" inches to the front of the comb and 2" inches at the heel.  All of the controls on this Remington are in perfect working order, just like the day it left the factory 15 years ago.  The action is smooth and precise, and the bolt slams home into battery with authority when tripped.  The internal parts of this shotgun are just as clean and free from wear as the exterior.  This Remington comes with one factory choke tube installed in the barrel, labeled "Mid-Handicap .034".  If you have been looking for a classy, reliable, low-recoil, and beautiful trap gun for your collection this 2004 Model 1100 Classic Trap would be an excellent choice.  This is certainly a shotgun that could be carried with pride into any trap field in the country              SOLD Manufacturer: Remington Model: Model 1100 Classic Trap Serial Number: R210470V Bore: Mint Chambers: 2.75" Inches Condition: Excellent Barrels: 30" Inches Action: Semi-auto Gas Operated Gauge Info: 12 Gauge Stock Drop: 2" inch drop at the heel Stock Comb: 1 & 3/8ths inches drop to front of comb Butt Pad: 1" inch factory-installed Remington-branded red pad LOP: 14.5" Inches Rib: Ventilated Rib Weight: 8 lbs 8 oz.
