Description:
This is an original five pouch bandolier that has tarnished brass buckles, fittings, and closure studs. The leather is in fine shape, almost unissued save for the end straps and tabs which do exhibit use, and light-moderate crazing. The cartridge pouches are in excellent shape with very little evidence of use, and there is a visible, but illegible maker’s name near the buckle on the short tab. Additionally, there is a faint, but legible date stamp as well: 1915. This is a fantastic example of a seldom seen piece of WW1 British field equipment, and would make a great piece for display.
