Winchester M1 Carbine .30 Carbine semi automatic US service rifle, WWII manufacturing date. This rifle has been sporterized, meaning it has been tastefully converted into a sporting-style rifle. The rifle has been fitted into a very nice walnut stock, with a matching handguard and a generous cheekpiece with a great feel and fit. The hardware has been refinish in a very rich hot-dip blue, and the receiver has been fitted with a bridge-style scope base, and tapped into the receiver ring and the rear sight block. In the rings is a Bushnell Sportview 1.5-4.5x scope, which suits the rifle nicely as a low power hunting optic. Overall the rifle is in great mechanical and aesthetic condition, and would make for a great deer gun; .30 Carbine can pack a punch! The front sight is slightly loose on the barrel, however this does not negatively effect the function of the rifle. Please refer to the photos to further assess the condition of the rifle.
