Whitney-Kennedy .45-70 Caliber Sporting Rifle. W. Morse patent and 1856 date on barrel. Tang has Burgess patents of 1873-1875. Bore is excellent and bright action works perfectly and smoothly. Metal parts have even light color patina with no pits or abuse of any kind, just normal wear. Stocks are very good with no chips or cracks. This is a nice big frame .45-70 in better condition than usually seen, especially for a .45-70. Barrel is 28”.
