A rare factory engraved Colt 5-Shot House Pistol fitted with a 2 5/8 inch barrel, 5-shot round non-fluted cylinder, spur trigger, wood (rosewood?) grips, and chambered in .41 RF. This 1876 vintage Colt is in excellent original condition, and even though all the metal surfaces have lost their original finishes, the gun looks good, with nice looking engraving and mostly un-molested screw-heads. The grips fit well and retain most all of their original finish, with only some thinning on the sharp edges. The bore is bright, with some minor spotting, and the action functions perfectly. The action is so tight and crisp I would not hesitate to shoot it. A truly unique engraved Colt Pocket Pistol.
