Engraved Belgian DOUBLE BARREL SxS .380 Pistol
Late 19th early 20th Century Self-Defense Pistol
Here we present a nicely engraved Belgian made Double Barrel, Side by Side pistol, made circa 1893 to the early 1900s in Liege, Belgium. This little pistol was made for self-defense and would have provided two shots of .380 caliber. The metal has nice engravings along with an engraved grip.
The barrel rib is marked “CAL .380” and there are Liege proof marks throughout and under the barrels.
The overall condition is good. The later nickel finish is 98% complete. The markings are legible. The walnut grips are in great shape. The bores are clear. The action on this pistol is fair. The hammers/triggers do function, though the left mainspring is weak while the right is quite strong.
