Description:
Up for your consideration is a beautiful German G48 (Gewehr 48) rifle dated 1918. This model 1898 is in excellent condition with a 30in barrel, and chambered in 8mm. At some point the gun was at a Turkish Arsenal but still retains over 98% original blue finish, with all steel markings on the right side of the receiver being perfect and crisp. Bolt is Turkish but all other numbers match. The stock is in excellent condition. Bore is very good for a 100+ year old gun, light frosting but very deep grooves. Action is tight and all mechanical aspects are flawless. A must have for any German military collector! Serious inquiries please call our store at 401-397-4867
