Description:
This is an excellent and rare Walther PP rig from the Nazi era.  It is NSKK marked and issued, which was the designated official transportation branch of the NSDAP, and includes the elusive NSKK marked holster.  There were about 3,500 such pistols issued, and ~100 reported serials. This pistol is all original and correct with about 97-98% blue remaining.  There is minor muzzle/edge thinning, and one spot of surface freckling on each side of the pistol.  The holster is considered significantly more rare than the pistol even, and is all original and correct.  While the NSKK proof marking is present, it has definitely faded from age and wear.  The holster is in good condition otherwise, with sharp Akah proof mark and only minor cracking along the top of the flap.  Excellent grips and magazine.  Crown/N proofs on slide and frame.  Mint bore.
___________
From Axis Pistols: "In 1930, the NSKK was designated the official transportation branch of the NSDAP.  Its primary mission was to meet all the transportation needs of the Nazi Party.  Motorization won Germany for the NSDAP and with it they expected to conquer the world.  At the outbreak of World War II, the NSKK assumed important military transportation responsibilities.  By 1943, almost all of the NSKK was on active service either with the Army or the Waffen SS.
