New items added daily! Description: This is a very early Walther PP issued to a bank for security/protection. The gun was most likely made in the first or second year of production (1929-30). It has the typical features of an early gun such as the placement of the crown/N proofs, the extended barrel, the 90 degree safety and the enclosed, two-piece firing pin. It also has early weighted grips and an early slab side magazine. It also has the BANK gun contract features, namely the painted sites, the vertically numbered slide (pantographed numbering) and the numbered magazine which is on the side of the black finger extension. The condition of the gun is all original and matching. There is about 96-97% of the original finish remaining, however there are a few minor spots of corrosion. There is minor pinpricking on the grip straps and bit on the left side of the slide - mostly in the area of the Walther Legend. Overall though, a very nice example of an early Walther PP that was issued to a bank in the pre-Nazi era.
