Description:
This is an original WW2 P38, extra magazine and WW2 German issue holster, as brought back by the thousands after the war by American GIs. The pistol is an X suffix byf44 in about 90% condition. The blue is excellent and original with one spot on the left side of the slide in front of the the safety and above the serial number, that I think is a bloody finger print. Pinprick pitting in this spot only, just the size of a fingertip. I believe the holster has some blood spotting as well, check the pics and you'll see what I mean! The holster is a gxy 1943 with an upside down WaA706, and is stamped in big letters- P38. Other than the stains, it is a solid holster with good strong stitching. The 2 magazines are both correct WW2 issue P38 mags, marked P.38v on the left side of each. All numbers match on this gun, frame, barrel, slide and locking block. It appears to have been shot very little, has the correct late war Mauser grips and has a mint bright bore. $35 shipping to the lower 48, 3% surcharge for using a CC.
