Description:
This Remington 81 Woodsmaster rifle is a recoil operated rifle with a 22" blued heavy barrel with a deep, dark walnut stock with checkered pistol grip with matching checkered fore end. The left side of the receiver has been drilled and tapped for a side mount for a scope. The fore end and butt stock have also been plugged from where there have been sling swivels installed sometime in the past. It was manufactured in March 1948 and is in excellent condition for a rifle of its age.
