Description:
A high quality sidelock non-ejector English Double Damascus barrel shotgun with excellent bores. These guns were nitro proofed. In the early nitro days damascus was considered superior to the steel barrels of the time and many higher quality guns were made with damascus barrels. The barrels have been blued at some time in the past. Clean wood with some minor dings. 28 inch barrels, 14 5/8 ' LOP; 2 7/8" DAH; 1 1/2" DAC and 3/8" cast off.Original butt plate has the trade mark and is marked Duck and Quail Gun. 7 pounds, 1 ounce. Locks tight as new and has an automatic safety. Rear sling stud is a replacement.
