Description:
Overall condition of this shotgun is good. The metal has a small spot of surface pitting about 3 1/2" from the end of the fore arm as well as some handling marks here and there. The wood is structurally sound though the finish has certainly seen better days. All around the stock where it meets up with the butt plate the finish is gone or very thin. The furniture has various dents, dings, scratches, and minor chips throughout as well. The bore is in excellent condition with no apparent bulges or other deformities. It can best be said that this shotgun has lived up to its namesake of "field".
