Weipert Diana 12 Gauge shotgun. Austrian made double with Weipert proofs. Barrel is marked “Diana” probably the grade of engraving. Engraving is very good quality with dog flushing pheasants on left side and a fox flushing ducks on the right side. Floor plate and other parts of the frame have very fine tight scrolls, flowers and pinwheel patterns around the screws. Barrels are choked full and full and marked “Nicht fur Kugel” (not for ball). No Buckshot. Gun has automatic ejectors which work perfectly. Barrels are 30” and are for 2¾” shells. Length of pull is 14” over a white line recoil pad. Stocks are excellent with fine checkering and some extra skip line fancy checkering on the forend. Buttstock has fancy circassian walnut and shows some nicks and dings from hunting use. This is a box lock shotgun with side plates. Very well made shotgun with extra features, such as side clips on the barrel breech which blend into the standing breech face. Shotgun weights 8lbs. 5 oz.
