Here’s a very nice Winchester Model 12 20 ga. Skeet gun that is all original and in excellent condition overall. It’s a 60-61 gun and the 26 inch barrel assembly is marked WS-1 and features the round post special ventilated rib. It has a second matching serial number barrel assembly that is 28 inches long and is choked full. The vent rib on this set, for reasons unknown to me, is a square post marked Simmons -Kansas City. The barrel matting on the top of the robs is identical—see pix. It is known that Simmons was involved with Winchester in this time period, supplying ribs and doing some installations for them. You’ll have to draw your own conclusions on this one! In any event, this gun has nicely figured wood and the forearms match. It makes a nice all around shotgun suitable for clays or birds. I think you’ll be pleased with this gun and I’ll pay shipping and insurance to the lower 48.
