About 15 years ago, I purchased a few shotguns from the estate of the CEO of DuPont in Wilmington, Delaware. During his tenure, DuPont owned Remington Firearms and DuPont executives had access to some very nice guns. This is one of them and at this stage of my life, it’s time for the next caretaker. This is a 3 inch magnum Left Hand 1100 that comes with two very scarce factory choke tube barrels. One is a 28 inch vent rib magnum barrel with Remchokes and the 2nd is a 28 inch barrel with a 2 3/4 inch chamber also fitted with factory Remchokes. There is an assortment of choke tubes that come with set both flush mount and extended-about 10 in total. What set his gun apart is the high quality wood in the stock and forearm. It’s easily D or F Grade. It’s magnificent. The metal, bore and mechanics are excellent on this gun. The wood has just a very few handling marks on it to rate 98-99%. There are no alterations of any kind on this 1100. The different barrel sets allow you to shoot ANY shotgun clays game or game in the field. Truly an all around shotgun for the Southpaw. I’ll send a clip on shell catcher with the gun for you trapshooters out there. A one of a kind gun with 2 very rare LH 1100 barrels. I’ll pay shipping and insurance to the lower 48.
