Here is a truly rare and fine item for a collector of Inland Paratrooper carbines from WWII. This one was made by Hav Stch Co, and is dated 1944 and U.S. marked on the outer flap. This is NOT a reproduction. See the pictures for the reinforced button tabs. These were padded cases for the airmen to carry their folded carbines into the field, strapped to their belts and in come cases their leg so that they could be immediately drawn upon landing. This example is in exceptional condition with only very light staining, very mild musty smell from long term storage, no rotting or weakness of stitching here. Lightly used in the past and very usable even today. A 1944 dated jump holster would be very appropriate for a 2nd run of the Inland paratrooper models, or even the arsenal rebuilt examples late in or after the war. Shipping is $18.
