PRE-WAR WINCHESTER MODEL 94 LEVER ACTION .38-55 W.C.F. RIFLE CA. 1923. 22” round barrel with Marble’s rear and Marble’s No.3 bead front sight. Winchester address and 1894 patent date on barrel and breech stamped “38-55”. 2/3rds magazine. Standard Winchester rifle butt plate. Appears to be a factory alteration to “Short Rifle”. Excellent original condition with 95% original blue on the barrel and tube and slightly less on the frame. Stock and forend with the original finish. Perfect working order and mint bore. Old sling with Pre-War eyelet swivels. Extra nice in very desirable 38-55 caliber.
