Description:
This is a pretty cool Diana Grade Superposed that would cover most of your clay target shotgunning needs and would be a great tower shoot gun. It’s a 1964 vintage long tang gun with a set of 30 inch barrels bored improved modified and full with a trap style forearm and a second set of 26 1/2 inch barrels bored Skeet with a field type forearm. Both barrel sets feature the Lightning style vent rib. All bores and mechanics are excellent. The buttstock is a factory Monte Carlo design, which is rare on a Browning Superposed. The nicely figured stock has an LOP of 14 1/4 inches over a leather covered non factory pad. The drop at the front of the Monte Carlo is 1 1/2 inches and 1 3/8 inches at the rear of the Monte Carlo which works well in reducing felt recoil. The drop at the top of the pad is 1 15/16 inches. The gun is engraved and signed by Jose Baerten on both sides. He’s among the best of the Browning factory engravers. It’s all factory cased and presents very nicely. The case is a rare 3 barrel case, which has decent value all by itself. It’s a gun you’d be proud to take to the range. Realistically priced and I PAY shipping and insurance to the lower 48.
