Except those listed as Payment Types Accepted: Bank Checks / Money Orders Description: SOLD Pending Funds / Japanese Type 14 (STG) Semi-Auto Pistol, manufactured by Nagoya Kokubunji, serial # 56624, cal. 8mm Nambu, has a 4 1/2" barrel with a bright excellent bore. The metal surfaces of this February 1939 dated pistol retain about 95% original blue with most of the loss due to toning to gray patina along the gripstraps, some scattered light freckling and other small areas of minor thinning. There is the usual operational mark caused by the safety on the left side. The small parts retain almost all of their lovely straw color with just some very minor silvering. The grooved Asian hardwood grips show what appear to be pencil numbers but they are difficult to discern; they otherwise remain in very good plus condition showing some handling marks and slightly worn finish. The striker and its extension are un-numbered, all of the remaining serialized parts are matching except for the magazine and the action seems to function well mechanically. The included magazine is a later-style blue-bodied example with extra front cutout numbered "447" but remains in near excellent condition. This is a fine Nambu pistol made during the last year of STG production, the overall condition as photographed and described is very good plus to very good plus plus.
