This Winchester M-1 Carbine - Serial No. 1071475, Cal .30, was mfg abt 10/42 and has all originl type and the correct parts (See Inventory of Parts list). The gun bluing - a combination of parkerizing and gun metal black is of a normal contrast and correct to the firearm. The buttstock is in very good condition w/the matching forearm the same, Thre a afew very light handling marks on the buttstock by the magazine release abt 1/4" in size and a few other marks & a few very light pinhead markings. You have to look for them. There are no dings, cracks or rubbs. The walnut staining is consistant throughout. The action is excellent and it cycles correctly . The bore is shiney and has a nice visible twist. The bore measures "0" and the throat the same. (Excellent for both a collectible and a shooter - as well). The magazine is not included w/the firearm.

This Winchester is to me an NRA Very Good overal and would make both a fine collectible and gun range piece.
