Here is a very early Ruger Red Eagle .22 auto that was made before Alexander Sturm passed away. Only the very early models (S/N 0001-35000) have the red eagle on the left grip as Ruger changed them to black after Sturm passed away in his memory. This gun is in very good condition and functions perfectly. It has the original red eagle emblem on the grip as well as on the bottom of the magazine. The grips are free from cracks and chips. The bore is excellent and the gun retains most of its factory original bluing. This was Ruger’s first offering and a popular model. These are quite collectible and if you missed buying one when they first came out then this is your chance to own a piece of history. I offer a three day non-firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be shipped in a zipper case with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
