***SOLD*** Mauser Model K98k Carbine, chambered in 8mm Mauser with "byf" code, dated to 1942. This rifle features the famous Mauser action with a matching laminate hardwood stock and matching handguard, as well as Waffenamt stamps. The rifle has no import marks. The rifle has normal signs of use typical of military weapons, as shown in the photos, including dings, dents, scratches, etc. The gun is mechanically sound, with some very minor frost in the bore. The rifle is mostly matching, including the stock, with the exception of the bolt (safety, bolt housing, and the bolt itself). The lock screws are not present on the bottom metal, as shown, however the rifle is solid without them. Please carefully examine the photos prior to . This would make for a great collector's or re-enactors rifle, or a fun shooter! Good WWII Mausers are hard to find.
