This Smith & Wesson was produced in 1956. The pistol's serial number is S 180368. It is fitted with the 6 1/2 inch barrel. This is a four screw frame. It has the original target sights intact. This pistol has the target hammer and trigger. The color cased finish is strong and vivid on those two parts. The original grips are in very fine condition. They do show some use and wear. There is no damage to these grips. The original bluing would rate a 90% overall condition. Most of the wear is by the muzzle. The crane and cylinders lock up tight. The action is smooth with a nice trigger release. This pistol has seen use and holster wear. There is no abuse or alterations done to this fine pistol.The bore and cylinders are bright with no issues. The original box is in good to very good condition. The box is solid with no outside damage. The liner shows wear and hammer rubbing. The screw driver cleaning rod and swab is in the box. This is a well cared for pistol. It shows honest use and wear.
