Description:
This Springfield Armory U.S. Model 1884 is a single shot hinged breechblock trapdoor rifle in .45-70 Cal. It has a 32.5 inch barrel with two barrel bands and a steel tip. A blade front sight and adjustable Buffington rear sight. The stock is a smooth walnut straight grip. The iron barrel has a 1:20 twist. This model us by the United States Army was manufactured in 1885 and is in good condition for it's age.
