This Winchester was produced in the first year of the Expert Models, 1919. This 22 Short, Long And Long Rifle's serial number is 537826. This rifle has the standard 20 inch round barrel. The front and rear sights are original to this model. The bore is in very fine condition. The barrel and magazine blue would rate a strong 98% overall condition. The pistol grip reciever retains about 97% of the nickel plating. The action works and locks up very snug. The stock and pump handle have the correct 'Expert" style wood. The wood is in very fine condition with no damage. The original finish is fully intact on the wood. The original butt plate has no chips or damage. These half nickel finished Model 1906's are fairly rare. Most of the one's found today are in poor condition with major plating loss. This rifle retains most of the plating with very good surface condition. The plated surface shows very little surface abrasion. This is a very fine condition "Expert" Model 1906 that is highly collectable today. This 22 is certainly one of the nicest to come on the market in awhile!
