Description:
SOLD Pending Funds / Unmarked British Percussion Pistol, cal. 69, with a 7 1/2'' barrel and a oxidized bore. The barrel and lock are tones of brown and pewter with pinprick oxidation, some scratches, freckling and tool marks, the barrel is marked with British proofs and the number ''16''. The brass hardware is a mostly dull ochre patina with a few bright spots around the grip cap lanyard ring and to the rear of the triggerguard. The smooth walnut stock is about good, there are handling marks, small impact marks, a couple small cracks, near the top tang and one on the left-side near the breech end of the barrel. The lock functions well and a tarnished brass ramrod is present. The overall condition as described and photographed is good – good plus. Inv. : # 12-155
