Description:
Sold / Pending Funds / Colt 1849 Percussion Pocket Revolver, serial # 85659, cal .31, with a 4'' octagon barrel and a frosted bore. The grip frame and triggerguard are a dark ochre patina with tarnished areas and other small blemishes while the remaining metal areas are a mix of gray and brown patina with some case-hardened pattern still visible on the frame, small impact marks, silvering of the high edges and oxidation staining. The smooth walnut grips are about very good showing signs of a light cleaning. All parts are numbered alike and the revolver appears to function well mechanically. The overall condition as described and photographed is good plus – very good. Inv. : # 12-153
