Very rare Remington model 742 Woodsmaster in 6mm Remington caliber.Built in 1963,this rifle is in outstanding all original condition.It retains 99% of the original blue and wood finish. The bore is mint with sharp rifling.The wood is sound with no cracks or damage.The stock still retains the original factory aluminum buttplate.The forend is the early style grooved forend and the stock is the early style with no checkering.The 6mm was only built in this model for 2 years.The receiver was factory drilled and tapped and has a Weaver base installed.A rare,original, and very collectible rifle that would also make a great medium game rifle.C&R eligible.
