Description:
Colt Model 1873 SAA, .44-40, s/n 288837, revolver, is Army Cavalry Standard 7.5" barrel length, single action. Very good 85+% condition. Manufactured 1907.

Disclosures of Condition;
Case colored receiver with a majority of colors present showing light freckling in a few small spots. Comes with good leather holster. Two line barrel address reads "COLTS PT F A MFG CO HARTFORD CT USA" with the left side of the barrel marking of ".44 W.C.F.".

Lettering sensitive to the feel. The barrel bluing shows out except for a very small holster wear area of loss left side at muzzle as well as very light small pin point spotting right side barrel and superficial hairline scratches. Bore shines with very small area of light surface pitting. Smooth oversized walnut grip panels show only light handling marks. Grip Butt No. is 288837 with same matching number frame, grip and trigger guard. Hammer with checkered spur shows light freckling either side. Cylinder shows a drag line and slight finish thinning in spots between the dragline and rear face. The remaining bluing on the cylinder appears fine with only a few blemishes and flash pitting marks in a couple of spots. Barrel and cylinder appear to be replacements. Overall condition is 85+ %.

Throwing in the holster with the pistol as one of the cartrige loops is torn.

Shippable to C&R.

 Seller accepts Zelle, cashiers check, personal check or money order. Layaway is four equal monthly payments.
