Colt Early 1849 Pocket Model with small loading notch. 5” Barrel. .31 Caliber. Two line New York Address. All matching numbers including the wedge. Grips are good with no chips or cracks. Cylinder scene is very good plus to excellent. 95% Vivid scene. Frame has the small “Colts Patent” mark. Bore is good plus. Backstrap and trigger guard have about 60-70% silver tarnished to black. This is an untouched early ’49 with early features and in better than usual condition for an early ’49, as most are loose and well-worn out! 5” Barrel is also hard to find.
