Colt's Model 1911 A1 .45 acp Government Model serial number 16680XX placing date of manufacture in 1944. This is a late gun, the serial number will not be found on the slide under the firing pin wedge. Overall condition is excellent with 98/99% original untouched factory finish just starting to tone. The bore is perfect with strong rifling. barrel is Colt marked with "P" proof on the Barrel Togle. Minor slide wear on the Barrel. The magazine is correct.
