Description:
Up for your consideration is a beautiful Colt Baby Lightning Saddle ring carbine chambered in .44 WCF with a 20in round barrel. Includes Colt Factory Archive letter. Manufactured in 1890 this antique Colt is in good to very good condition rating roughly 80% in overall condition. As with any antique gun there are some small areas of blue wear and some light rusting near the edges of the receiver, but all original factory blue that is present is clear and rich. Chamber and internals are very good with great lock up and action. Bore is good with only some minor frosting and light pitting but deep grooves and shiny walls. Stock condition is very good with no major dings, fore end is the same condition with great checkering. Overall this rare rifle is in great condition and would make for an excellent additional to any early Colt collection.
