Description:
Low serial number manufactured in Danzig (modern day Gdansk) Mauser Model 88 with date 1890 stamped on top of receiver. Military markings on front and middle bands showing regiment assigned. This example is in good operable fna functional condition with some noted handling and wear marks. Numerous proof and other stamps and markings shown in photos. Numbers 891 on barrel and receiver match. Likely has seen service. Note the three old file markings on lower right side of magazine. Bolt has been replaced with one having Turkish marking.
