Description:
From a mid-west sale, a Browning 22 long rifle cal. take down rifle made in Belgium in 1956. The stock is solid with no cracks or chips however there are dents and dings from years of use (see photos). The receiver is engraved and the action is smooth. The barrel has the correct front sight and the correct "wheel" rear sight and is tight in the receiver with no slak and the bore looks good however there are some oxidation spots on both barrel and receiver and a couple of spots of pitting (see photos). At the sale they said although it was imported before there were serial number requirements it can be dated as 1956 was the only year a 19 1/2" barrel was used on this model rifle. Although I am sure this is correct I can not verify it. I have looked this gun over and it appears all original to me, it doesn't appear to have been altered however I can not prove this therefore I am offering it with a 100% satisfaction guarantee, if it fails to live up to your expectations in any way return it for a full and speedy refund including your return shipping.
