For your viewing from a estate is a 1943 Smith Corona made 1903-A3 conversion rifle. This was the way to get a bolt action hunting rifle the quick easy way back in the 50’s 60’s. Convert a military 1903-A3 rifle. You stripped the sights, reblued, added a custom walnut stock, jeweled the bolt, and you had a classy looking, good shooting rifle. Thousands of WW11 bolt rifle were converted this way and they will be around for years to come, they were good solid rifles. This rifle is fitted with the classic from the 50’s weaver 4X scope. Those were the days!!!!!
