Description:
This original .36 caliber 1861 Colt Navy Revolver was assembled by Bannerman. It has a 7-1/2” round barrel with Address Col. Sam'l Colt New-York City U. S. America on the top. The blued finish on the revolver is still visible and most of the wear appears to be on the cylinder. The bore and cylinders are in good condition. The Walnut grips are good and are attached to the color case hardened steel frame that has Colts Patent stamped on the left side. Stamped on the cylinder is Colt's Patent No 5. Both the backstrap and trigger guard are brass. Please Note: All metal parts have scattered surface pitting. Numbers are non-matching. Overall length is 13-1/2", weight is 2 lbs, 9 oz.
