Description:
This Remington Model 8 is a recoil operated right hand semi-auto rifle in.35 Rem. Cal. It has a 22 inch barrel with front and middle iron sights. It also has a folding adjustable rear peep sight. The stock is a smooth walnut straight grip and a smooth grip Schnabel forearm. It was the first commercially successful semi-automatic rifle offered for civilian sale in the United States. Used by the F.B.I. two Model 8's were used in the ambush of Bonnie and Clyde.
