The 687 Silver Pigeon V is a beautiful hunting over/under shotgun chambered in 20 ga with a 28 inch barrel. This shotgun reflects the heritage and quality that Berretta is known for. The 687 receiver is both strong and low-profile. This is achieved by two conical locking lugs at mid-height, meaning that it will always lock up strongly and positively while not requiring the extra bulk of a top locking lever.
The 687 Silver Pigeon V’s elegance comes by way of a rich and deeply-textured color-case finish that is applied without any degradation of the metal. This creates a great background for the hand-inlaid gold game scene and gold medallion underneath. The stock is made of select walnut with an oil finish in the fashion of the English Straight Stock.
Despite its obvious visual attractors the 687 Silver Pigeon V is built to last.
