Description:
This Winchester commemorative RCMP Centennial Musket is an absolute stunner! Receiver, barrel bands, butt plate, and nose cap are all richly plated in gold, with the balance of the metal exhibiting all of its original factory lustrous blue finish. Left side of the receiver is engraved with an image of a Mountie holding his Winchester while astride his horse, and the right side shows a stylized "MP." The right side of the butt stock houses a gold medallion honoring the centennial of the RCMP and RNWMP. Right side of barrel is roll marked "R.C.M.P. Centennial 1873-1973." Receiver tang is engraved with "Maintiens Le Droit," the official motto of the RCMP. Stock is completely free of any scratches, dings, or handling marks. Comes complete with original factory box. An absolutely magnificent collectable Winchester!
