This is a fantastic 60 year old stock in near perfect condition. It would make a great replacement for a broken or missing stock for a Pre-64 African 458 Win Mag (Only 1200 made). It also might make a great stock to use on your .458 African rifle if you are trying to keep yourinal stock perfect while you are hunting. Lastly, it would be a fantastic stock for a custom rifle with a Pre-64 action and custom barrel in the caliber of choice .
The stock is fitted with a 4 round cartridge magazine and has the original Winchester recoil pad. There is a drop of reinforcement glass inside stock for extra strength shown in photo 20.. Wood and checkering in near 99% Plus.
The engraved Charging Lion was done by Nils Hultgren. Nils was the custom engraver for Winslow Arms as well as the preferred engraver for high profile collectors and hunters world wide.
