Description:
Antique Colt 1862 Pocket Police made in the first year of production. Serial no. 1023 with all matching numbers on frame, 5-1/2" bbl, cyl, wedge, trigger guard and backstrap. The grips have never been removed, and all screws are original. correct, and undamaged. Cylinder has undamaged 1/2 cock pins. This early production gun has an iron trigger guard instead of the later brass. The grips have original varnish, and the iron has smooth salt and pepper with no rusting. There are traces of blue on the cylinder, and trace case hardening on the frame. The trigger guard has some silver remaining. Please see the photos for condition.
