Savage, 1861 Navy, .36 cal, cap and ball, 20,000 of these guns were built during the American Civil War, made by Savage Revolving Firearms and produced 1861-1862, weight is 3 lbs 6 oz, 14 1/2" length, single action revolver, 6 shot cylinder, designed with 'proto double action' (second trigger underneath the first) when the trigger is pulled it cocks the hammer, it is a high demand collectors item.
