Description:
Colt 1902 Military 38 acp manufactured about 1911. One of 18,000 of this 1902 Military manufactured from 1902 through 1928. Blue, 6" barrel, OAL 9", Mag capacity is 8 rounds ( non original mag, lanyard loop), caliber 38 auto / 38 acp - which uses the same brass as the 38 super, but is less powerful. These were serial numbered from 15,001 down to 11,000; then started at 15,201 to 15,999; then from 30,200 to 43,266. Go figure!! Worn but not abused, not a whole lot of bluing left on the slide. Still some lands and grooves on the barrel, functions as it should. Decent checkered grips w/ brass ferrules - doubt if they're Colt since most 1902 Military's were shipped with hard rubber grips. Maybe worth a Colt letter.
