Description:
Yugoslavia Zastava SKS M-59/66 A1 rifle in 7.62mm x 39mm. The overall condition is excellent; the gun looks like it spent most of its life, since 1969, in the arms room. Everything, including the oiler and cleaning kit, was packed in cosmoline when I received them. The barrel, receiver, and stock are 95 percent. The bore is shiny, and the bayonet looks new. Please note that the number stamped into the left side of the stock near the butt plate does not match the serial number on the receiver. Accessories include a leather sling, an oiler and pouch (pouch looks new), a cleaning kit, and a “Tehnicka knjižica – Karton” for this specific rifle, by serial number. The leather sling and oiler pouch are supple; neither are dried out or cracked. The Tehnicka knjižica – Karton, containing 50 pages, appears to be a record of the gun beginning in 1969, possibly of inventories and/or inspections and other activities. It’s hard to say, since I do not understand the Croatian language. The sparse number of entries would seem to indicate the low usage of the gun, thus its excellent condition. The serial number of the rifle was etched onto the magazine, the trigger guard, and the rear of the receiver. The receiver is stamped, “PW ARMS REDMOND WA ZASTAVA M59/66 7.62 X 39 YUGO”. The buyer pays $60 for USPS Priority Mail and insurance, if insurance is desired. Insurance cost $4.60 for the first $300, plus $1.20 for each additional $100. I will accept a personal check which I will hold until it clears. I will also accept a USPS money order which I do not have to hold, as it clears immediately. I will accept another type of money order, but I will hold it until it clears. Please note that the USPS costs cited above is an estimate. Must ship to FFL.
