See T&C Payment Types Accepted: Bank cashier's certified check or USPS MO Description: SALE PENDING.......This is a 1895 Mannlicher bayonet/scabbard with the unusual stylized "OMC" or "M" marking also stylized double headed eagle Austrian Coat of Arms indicating Ferlach manufactured between 1934 and 1938. Condition: Excellent Original condition showing nice crisp marking of the Stylized Austrian double headed eagle on one side of the ricasso and the stylized "OMC" or "M" (some collectors referred to ) on the other side of the ricasso. There is NO pitting; the blade is bright in the white with very few scattered faint aging spots; it is unsharpened with NO nicks, protected with cosmoline grease which i wipe some off to be able to take the pictures. Blade, pommel, cross hilt in the white with minimal scratches/handling marks. Pommel has a "T" mortise slot with the release button in good working condition. The wood scales are in great shape with NO cracks, NO chips, rivets tightly in place with minor few tiny bruises, scratches/handling marks. The scabbard itself is a real find; it is smooth; has NO dents, NO nicks, NO pitting with nice rich dark blue finish with imperfections thinning dulling in some areas with minor scratches/handling marks; throat rivet in place. The scabbard frog stud has some nice crisp markings; one of the markings is Czech "Zbrojovka Praga (Ying-Yang stamping) the other ones are unknown to me and never seen them before. The scabbard has cosmoline inside and fits the bayonet nice and tight as it should be. Overall a very uncommon find of a Ferlach 1895 manufactured Austrian bayonet with the styled double headed Austrian Eagle and the rare "OMC" marking in fantastic condition with unusual markings on the scabbard.
