Fibermark .340 Weatherby on a Mark V action with factory synthetic stock and 3-9X36 Diavari-C Zeiss scope.
I am the original owner, but my father-in-law borrowed it several times for his elk hunts as well. Loaded with Barnes 210’s there is no better elk medicine. He had his own pair of .340’s but for some reason preferred using mine. I agree, this gun just points well and balances well.
This gun is not a safe queen. It has been a useful tool for filling the freezer with elk for many years. It shows its use. The bolt knob has a patina that only comes from being in a scabbard on a horse. Bluing on the muzzle is worn, stock shows nicks. Scope shows a cosmetic nick, but is fully functional.
Why am I getting rid of it if its so awesome? My uncle passed away and I inherited his pre-64 Model 70 in .308 Norma and I have been using that gun for the last couple years.
I also have tons of loaded ammo as well as empty cases if you are interested. We can work out a deal.
