Description:
W. Glaser , Zurich, Switzerland. Heeren falling block action, .270 Winchester, 24” octagon to round blue barrel with integral sight rib and hooded front sight. These actions were designed in the 1880’s and now are made by the Omega Watch Co. Highly engraved game scenes and floral motif, antique coin finish receiver and trigger guard/ action lever. Cocking/ de- cocking trigger guard/ action lever. Note the safety lever on the right side of receiver. Hand rubbed oil finished European walnut stock with seldom seen 1-piece forearm, black horn nose cap, grip cap and butt plate. Stock forearm and pistol grip exhibit fine checkering and shadow line cheek piece and lining behind the pistol grip. Please note the flawless wood to metal fit, it just doesn’t get any better and appears to be in minty original condition. Bore and chamber are perfect! OAL: 38”; LOP: 13-1/4”; Weight: 7 lbs. - 5 oz.
